Heritage Resorts & Golf ambassadors and close friends Marcel Siem and Nicolas Colsaerts reunited in Mauritius, where they took a break from busy tournament schedules – after a small matter of a one-hole challenge of course!
From their biggest achievements and fondest memories to unexpected golf experiences and hidden talents, the duo give us a sneak peak into life as professional golfers, family men and what their favourite downtime activities are, learning a few new things about each other along the way.
For one, did you know that the favourite golfing memory of six-time DP World Tour winner Marcel Siem who calls Mauritius home and who’s witnessed first-hand the remarkable evolution of La Réserve Golf Links into the World’s Best new Golf Course (2024), was winning the 2006 Golf World Cup where he was paired with golfing legend Bernhard Langer.
Fellow ambassador and European Ryder Cup star Nicolas Colsaerts, on the other hand, reveals that a perfect holiday is all about good golf, great food and being next to the sea – which makes Mauritius and in particular Heritage Resorts & Golf, the perfect destination.
Through their shared passion for the game and their love of island life, Marcel and Nicolas are helping to elevate Heritage Golf Club’s global reputation, showcasing the World Top 25 Resort as a true bucket-list destination for golfers around the world.
